(Kinder, LA) - Today marked the exhilarating third round of the Coushatta Open. Today was “moving day”, and boy, did the players make their moves, causing the leaderboard to fluctuate until the very last putt dropped.

One player stood out among the rest, and that was Austin Rose (Baton Rouge, LA). He absolutely lit up the course, shattering records left and right with an astounding 11-under-par round, setting a new course record in the process. Rose's performance was nothing short of spectacular, as he showcased flawless precision and unwavering focus throughout the day.

The magic began early for Rose, as he tallied an impressive five birdies on the front nine alone. Undeterred, he continued his onslaught with four more birdies on the back nine, punctuating his round with an eagle on the challenging 18th hole.

And let's not forget to mention the weather – it was an absolute stunner of a day, with clear skies and perfect playing conditions, providing the ideal backdrop for Rose's remarkable performance.

Fred Wedel (The Woodlands, TX) trails behind him with a total of 12 under par, but with Rose's impressive lead, the battle for the title is far from over.
