Winds of Victory: Zach James Claims Firewheel Classic Crown

(Garland, TX) - The final round of the Firewheel Classic drew to a close amidst challenging weather conditions, with winds gusting up to 20 mph, putting players to the test on the course. Despite the tough conditions, Zach James from Whitesboro, Texas, emerged triumphant, finishing the tournament with an impressive 16-under par total to clinch the championship.

Following closely behind was John Sand from Hoquiam, WA, securing second place with an 11-under par total. Zach James's stellar performance further solidified his reputation as a force to be reckoned with on the greens, having consistently landed in the top 15 in every tournament this season. Last week's runner-up finish at the Birdies On The Bayou only added to his growing list of achievements.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to Firewheel Golf Park - Bridges Course for graciously hosting the tournament, providing a challenging yet rewarding venue for players and fans alike. As the Firewheel Classic concludes, the excitement continues to build for the next stop on the tour – the United Way Classic in Fort Smith, Arkansas, set to take place from May 8th to 13th.
