OSF Healthcare Children’s Hospital of Illinois Championship Provides Opportunity To Players of ANNIKA WAPT and APT
Peoria, IL - The All Pro Tour (APT) will be coming to Peoria, Illinois to partner with the OSF HealthCare Children's Hospital for the OSF Healthcare Children’s Hospital of Illinois Championship. The OSF HealthCare Children's Hospital of Illinois Championship presented by the OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois will feature over 120 of the best PGA hopefuls competing at Metamora Fields Golf Course and Weaver Ridge Golf Course.
“We are very excited to be hosting the OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois Championship again this year. The golfers in the All Pro Tour put on a terrific show last year and this year will be even better. We are adding the Annika Women’s All Pro Tour and expanding the event to include Weaver Ridge GC in addition to Metamora Fields to accommodate the larger field. This is a great opportunity to come out and see professional golf in central Illinois and to support a great cause. All proceeds from the event will go to support the Children’s Hospital of Illinois.” Said Kevin Brinkman, General Manager of Metamora Fields Golf Club and Weaver Ridge Golf Club.
The OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois Championship will be the ninth event of the 2024 APT season. The tournament will be held June 26th - 29th, 2024 at Metamora Fields Golf Club & Weaver Ridge Golf Club. The week will include a 72-hole championship finishing on Saturday, June 29th. The tournament purse is expected to be $162,000 with the tournament champion taking home a guaranteed minimum of $30,000.
"The OSF Healthcare Children’s Hospital of Illinois Championship will be our only tournament in 2024 that showcases the talents of both the All Pro Tour and ANNIKA Women’s All Pro Tour. We could not be more excited to bring this unique event to the Peoria area at two exceptional golf courses. Metamora Fields and WeaverRidge are both very different tracks that are challenging in their own ways that will test our player’s course management and endurance. Along with the courses, we are honored to partner with the OSF Healthcare Children’s Hospital of Illinois for the second year in a row and help raise money for the hospital’s foundation. OSF, Kevin and Vickie Brinkman, and the staff of the golf clubs have organized a first-class tournament and we cannot wait for the week to begin!" said Taylor Deike, All Pro Tour Tournament Manager.
